Glossia

Terms of use

Effective September 19, 2026 ยท Beta

Glossia is an automated interpreter. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Glossia is โ€” and is not

Glossia uses machine speech recognition, machine translation and synthetic speech. It makes mistakes: it can mishear, mistranslate, drop or add meaning, and it may be unavailable or slow. It is an aid to conversation, not a certified or professional interpreter.

Do not rely on Glossia alone where a misunderstanding could cause harm โ€” medical consent, diagnosis or dosing, legal proceedings, emergencies, safety instructions, or financial commitments. Use a qualified human interpreter for those, and confirm anything important another way.

Using the app

Plans and payment

Glossia has a free plan with limits and a paid plan. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, renew automatically until cancelled, and are managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Limits, prices and promotional access may change; a change to a paid plan will not take effect until your next renewal.

Beta

Glossia is in beta. Features may change or disappear, and the service may be interrupted. Message threads are temporary by design and are not a place to store anything you need to keep.

Your content and ours

What you say and write is yours. You give us permission to process it only as needed to interpret and deliver it, as described in the Privacy page. The app, its design and its name belong to us; these terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app.

Disclaimers and limits

Glossia is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on an interpretation; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Ending use

You can stop using Glossia at any time. We may suspend access for misuse of the service or to protect other people.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Questions: team@vesperia.io.
